Introducing the Call of Duty League

With the new launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (remastered? no, we already have that one, this is the “new” COD game for 2019), the new league is launching. It launches in 2020, not sure why the delay since esports is on the rise.

Email from Activision:

“The Call of Duty League(tm) launches in 2020. The official esports league of the Call of Duty(r) franchise features 12 professional teams – representing 11 markets across North America and Europe – competing in Call of Duty(r): Modern Warfare(r) multiplayer matches. The professional competition will travel from city to city, featuring the best Call of Duty(r) esports players from around the globe battling for over $6 Million and the ultimate prize: The Call of Duty League Championship.
