Should you buy a Playstation Classic?

The question is: should you buy a PlayStation Classic? This mini console will be available at the beginning of December, just in time to be a perfect present for any (old) PlayStation fan. However, there have been some negative feedback coming from the community. Some of them complained that the game lineup is the bare minimum of what Sony could do. Others said that PlayStation classic is using a PSX, a software emulator that playes PS1 games.

It would be cool if we could get more game titles for this little console. But if not, you might be better off just getting a real Playstation One, also known as the PS1 baby model. This is a real hardware and you can get it for as cheap as $30 or even less. Plus, you can play an entire PS game library on it. In addition you could start your own PS1 game collection.

PlayStation Classic costs $99. This is exactly how much nostalgia costs these days, it seems. The first PS came out in 1994, and the new classic edition has HDMI and two controllers included in the package.

All in all, there have been some drama regarding this product. But some people are still excited about it. If you are wondering, here is a complete list of games. If some of your favorites are on the list, it might be worth for you to pick up this console upcoming holiday season.
